Le Golf National was the venue for the 1991 Open de France, the oldest national open in Continental Europe, and it has been held there every year since except on two occasions. It is fitting that the club was selected to host the Ryder Cup in 2018. With two championship 18- hole golf courses, the Albatross and the Eagle, and the 9-hole “Birdie” short course, the National Golf Club provides a unique variety of challenges.
Le Golf National is located in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines about 45 minutes from the Champs Elysee in center Paris.
Hosting venue of the French Open since 1991, a key step in the European Tour calendar, the golf course combines the traditional feel of a links with the modern features of target golf.
Slick greens, vast undulating fairways with innumerable links-style bunkers are waiting for you. They will require golfers to use every club in the bag.
The spectacular final 4 holes surrounded by water hazards make the Albatros one of the finest golf courses in Europe where, in 2018, the final act of the Ryder Cup drama will be played. Come to face the Albatros course and feel a bit of the Ryder Cup experience before the stars.

The Aigle is a challenging course where golfers will find a true links feel next door to Paris. Undulating fairways, great greens and flowing roughs – the Aigle is a pleasant sister course to the harder Albatros. A busy course in the local area, it should not however be crossed off the “to do list” on a visit to Le Golf National. It can be a great warm up course for your Albatros experience, or a round on the Aigle the day after Albatros may re conciliate you with your game… All efforts are made to give equivalent maintenance much appreciated by all Le Golf National customers.
